Recent monthly inflation prints near 1.9-2.1% have sustained Argentina's disinflation trajectory under fiscal consolidation and crawling-band exchange-rate policy, with July year-over-year CPI at 33.8%. Analyst surveys now project a 29.8% year-end 2026 print, down from prior estimates, while IMF and OECD outlooks cluster around 30-31%. These figures place the closely matched 30.0-34.9% and 25-29.9% buckets at the center of trader pricing, with the narrow spread reflecting uncertainty over residual inertia, seasonal winter effects, and reserve accumulation. August CPI data and any adjustments to monetary guidance represent the next near-term catalysts that could shift the balance between the two leading outcomes.
