If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on August 27 project a mostly sunny day with a high near 90°F and only a 20% chance of afternoon thunderstorms, establishing the primary driver behind the tight market clustering around 88–91°F. This outlook reflects a warm ridge pattern lifting temperatures well above the late-August climatological average of roughly 85–86°F, with model guidance showing peak readings sensitive to exact timing of any convective development, boundary-layer mixing, and light northwest winds. Traders appear to weigh the balance between sustained insolation supporting a 90–91°F peak versus modest cooling from scattered clouds or brief showers that could cap readings nearer 88–89°F. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon model runs on August 26 will provide the next key data points for refining these probabilities.
