Current National Weather Service and private forecast models show Houston under persistent high pressure with mostly sunny skies and light southeast winds through September 21, supporting afternoon highs in the mid-90s amid typical late-summer humidity. This setup favors 94–95°F as the most likely daily maximum, aligning with the 55.5% market-implied probability, while 96–97°F receives secondary support at 22.5%. Limited model spread and absence of incoming fronts or tropical moisture keep higher outcomes below 10% probability. Traders appear to weigh the narrow forecast window and historical September climatology near 90–92°F averages, with any late adjustments in model runs or observed dew points likely to shift the tight 92–97°F range before resolution.
