Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources indicate a typical late-September marine layer influence over coastal Los Angeles, with morning low clouds and fog giving way to gradual afternoon clearing under southwest winds of 5–15 mph. This setup supports daytime highs clustering in the mid-70s, aligning with historical averages near 76°F and the tight market split between 74–75°F and 76–77°F outcomes. Onshore flow and moderate humidity are expected to limit further warming, though any faster clearing or lighter winds could push readings toward the upper end of that range. Updated NWS briefings and model runs ahead of the 21st will refine these details.
