Trader consensus on the Los Angeles September 9 high clusters tightly around 88–91°F because National Weather Service ensemble guidance and regional models show modest spread centered near 89–90°F under a building high-pressure ridge. Recent moisture from Hurricane Marie remnants has elevated humidity while suppressing the typical marine layer, allowing greater daytime heating, yet persistent onshore flow and sea-breeze timing introduce uncertainty that keeps the 88–89°F and 90–91°F bins nearly even. Historical September averages near 76–77°F underscore the anomalous warmth, with resolution hinging on the precise afternoon peak before any late-day cooling.
