Recent forecasts from models including GFS and ECMWF indicate Mexico City highs near 23–25°C on September 23, consistent with the seasonal average of about 23–24°C during the late rainy season. Persistent cloud cover, scattered showers, and thunderstorm chances of 35–60% are limiting daytime heating by reducing solar insolation and enhancing evaporative cooling. Historical data show September maxima rarely exceed 26°C without clear, dry conditions, which current steering patterns and moisture levels do not favor. Upcoming National Meteorological Service updates and next model runs will refine these projections ahead of market resolution, with trader sentiment reflecting the balance between typical seasonal norms and near-term precipitation influences.
