National Weather Service guidance and converging forecast models have positioned an upper-70s high as the most likely outcome for Central Park on September 12, driving the strong market consensus around 76–79°F. Seasonal norms place the long-term average high near 78°F, while current conditions—partly cloudy skies with southeasterly flow and moderating maritime influence—support readings in this range rather than significant departures. Model runs show limited spread, with only modest potential for 80°F if afternoon clearing strengthens, or slightly cooler values if cloud cover thickens earlier. Traders have concentrated positions accordingly, reflecting the narrow uncertainty window ahead of official observation resolution later today.
