Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance indicates Seattle's overnight low on September 14 will likely fall in the mid-50s°F, shaped by a frontal system delivering rain and southerly flow on the 13th before partial clearing. Persistent cloud cover, light winds, and marine influence from Puget Sound limit radiative cooling, while urban effects may add 1–3°F locally. Historical climatology shows a 53°F average low for the date, with model spreads of several degrees creating resolution uncertainty across narrow bins. Traders appear split on tail risks from forecast revisions or measurement at official stations, keeping the 47°F-or-below and 66°F-or-higher outcomes near even odds despite consensus around milder values.
