Current forecasts for San Francisco on September 12 point to a highest temperature in the 68–71°F range, driven by a persistent marine layer, moderate onshore westerly winds of 10–20 mph, and typical post-heat-wave cooling after recent highs near 94°F. Model consensus from sources like NOAA-aligned outlooks favors mild conditions near the 1991–2020 average high of 70.7°F, with limited afternoon clearing possible but no strong offshore flow to push readings higher. Slight differences in wind strength, cloud timing, or local microclimates around the bay distinguish the closely matched 68–69°F and 70–71°F bins, while lower-probability extremes remain unlikely given stable atmospheric patterns and no incoming warm advection.
