Northeast monsoon flow is the dominant factor suppressing Taipei's daytime highs for September 10, 2026, with the Central Weather Administration forecasting a maximum of 23–29°C amid northeasterly winds, increased cloud cover, and scattered showers that limit solar heating. This pattern aligns with recent observations of cooler-than-average early-September conditions across northern Taiwan, where persistent onshore flow delivers maritime air masses and maintains relative humidity above 70 percent. Model consensus from multiple sources reinforces peak temperatures near 28–29°C, though urban heat island effects could occasionally push readings toward 30°C. Traders appear to assign elevated implied probability to 30°C or higher outcomes, reflecting uncertainty in exact steering patterns and potential short-term model shifts before the daily maximum is recorded.
