**Forecast models from sources like GFS and yr.no indicate an overnight low for Madrid on September 9, 2026, in the 18–20°C range, aligning with the closely bunched market-implied odds favoring 19°C (34%), 18°C (28.5%), and 20°C (23.5%).** Clear to partly cloudy skies overnight, combined with light northeasterly winds and dew points near 10–14°C, support moderate radiative cooling after the warmer September 8 conditions. Madrid’s urban heat island and 655 m elevation moderate extremes relative to rural sites, while seasonal norms (historical average low ~16.5°C) provide context for the current consensus. Minor model spreads arise from cloud-cover timing and wind shifts, with resolution hinging on the precise minimum recorded between midnight and 8 a.m. local time. No major forecast revisions have occurred in the past day.
