Current forecast consensus from models and NWS guidance points to an overnight low in Miami on September 15 in the upper 70s to low 80s, driven by typical late-summer subtropical conditions with easterly flow, dew points near 75°F, and variable cloud cover that limits radiative cooling. Partly cloudy skies and light northeast winds are expected to prevent significant drops below historical averages near 79°F, while any increased thunderstorm activity or thicker cloud decks could hold minima closer to 80–81°F by reducing heat loss overnight. Trader sentiment, reflected in the close 78–79°F and 80–81°F outcomes, aligns with this narrow spread and model consensus, with uncertainty centered on exact boundary-layer moisture and timing of any convective development before dawn.
