National Weather Service forecasts and supporting models indicate a high near 100°F for Dallas on September 13 under clear skies, southerly winds of 5–15 mph, and dew points in the upper 60s that will push heat indices above 105°F. This aligns with the market’s leading 100-101°F outcome at 65.5% implied probability, as persistent high pressure and dry conditions sustain the late-summer heat wave. The 98-99°F bin at 28.5% reflects residual uncertainty in afternoon mixing or minor model spread, while probabilities above 102°F remain low given the absence of stronger warm-air advection. Historical September averages near 90°F underscore how current ridging has elevated readings well above climatology, with traders weighting the latest GFS and NWS guidance most heavily ahead of tomorrow’s observations.
