Latest National Weather Service forecasts for Central Park indicate the September 9 overnight low will likely fall in the upper 60s, with model guidance and point forecasts showing a narrow range near 68–71°F amid light southwest winds and partly cloudy skies that limit radiational cooling. This tight clustering of outcomes at 68–69°F and 70–71°F reflects modest uncertainty in minimum temperatures driven by urban heat retention, dew point trends near 60°F, and the absence of a stronger cold front. Historical September averages for NYC lows hover around 62–64°F, underscoring how the current warm, humid pattern supports the market’s elevated expectations. No significant model shifts or observational updates are anticipated before resolution.
