Latest National Weather Service guidance points to an overnight low of 64–67°F across New York City under partly cloudy skies, light northwest winds, and moderate dew points near 50–55°F, supporting the market’s strong preference for 68–69°F at 48% implied probability. These conditions reflect typical early-September radiational cooling beneath a weak high-pressure ridge, with minimal cloud cover and calm boundary-layer mixing preventing sharper drops. Recent model consensus from NOAA has held steady near this range, consistent with Central Park climatology showing average lows around 64°F and recent nights near 63–66°F. Updated forecast discussions and real-time observations through the early morning hours remain the key catalysts that could shift trader positioning before resolution.
