**Trader consensus strongly favors a 22°C low for Taipei on September 6, 2026 (86% implied probability), with 21°C a distant second at 10%.** Persistent rain and cloud cover from the outer bands of Typhoon Krovanh (KROVANH) have suppressed daytime heating and nighttime radiative cooling across northern Taiwan, producing a narrow diurnal temperature range. Official Central Weather Administration guidance and multiple forecast models (including ECMWF and GFS runs referenced in real-time updates) indicate overnight lows settling near 22–23°C under continued showers, high humidity near 90–95%, and light variable winds. This aligns with the current observed trajectory, where temperatures have hovered in the low-to-mid 20s°C throughout the day amid widespread precipitation. Historical September minimums in Taipei average around 23°C, but the typhoon-driven moisture and cloud deck have shifted conditions slightly cooler than seasonal norms without allowing deeper drops. Upcoming overnight observations from the Taipei station will confirm the exact minimum; any clearing or model shift could nudge the outcome toward 21°C or 23°C, though the current setup strongly supports the market's leading outcome.
