This market will resolve to "Yes" if the "Total cancellations within, into, or out of the United States yesterday" figure on FlightAware is greater than 450 when it is checked at 12:00 PM ET on the day after March 27, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is https://www.flightaware.com/live/cancelled/yesterday, specifically the "Total cancellations within, into, or out of the United States yesterday" figure on the "FlightAware.com live flight delay and cancellation statistics for yesterday" table when checked at the specified time. If the resolution source becomes permanently unavailable, or is otherwise unavailable at the resolution time up until 6 PM ET on that date, market will resolve to "No".Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects near-certainty that US flight cancellations on March 27, 2026, fell short of 450, as real-time FlightAware data tallied just 471 disruptions within, into, or out of the United States—though traders anticipate final tallies or adjustments confirming under the threshold amid stable national airspace operations. Absent the severe storms that triggered thousands of cancellations mid-month, March 27 saw only localized ground delays from high winds at New York-area airports (EWR, JFK, LGA) and Philadelphia (PHL), per FAA reports, with top impacts at LaGuardia (103) and Chicago O'Hare (79). Confidence stems from no widespread weather events, strikes, or technical failures; realistic shifts could arise from post-midnight data revisions or unlogged carrier adjustments before the 12:00 PM ET FlightAware check on March 28.
