This market will resolve to "Yes" if the "Total cancellations within, into, or out of the United States yesterday" figure on FlightAware is greater than 500 when it is checked at 12:00 PM ET on the day after March 28, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is https://www.flightaware.com/live/cancelled/yesterday, specifically the "Total cancellations within, into, or out of the United States yesterday" figure on the "FlightAware.com live flight delay and cancellation statistics for yesterday" table when checked at the specified time. If the resolution source becomes permanently unavailable, or is otherwise unavailable at the resolution time up until 6 PM ET on that date, market will resolve to "No".FlightAware data shows just 193 cancellations within, into, or out of the United States as of late March 28, well below the 500 threshold, with top impacts at LaGuardia (36) and Chicago O'Hare (17), driving trader consensus toward "No" at 74%. FAA air traffic reports flagged high winds delaying New York (EWR, JFK, LGA) and Philadelphia (PHL) flights on March 27, plus thunderstorms in Chicago (ORD, MDW) and low ceilings at San Diego (SAN), but no similar widespread alerts issued for today. Brief ground stops at DCA, IAD, BWI, and others earlier resolved quickly without escalation, unlike mid-March storms that canceled over 4,000 flights; stabilized operations and lack of new catalysts keep odds favoring under 500 by end-of-day.
