Juan Manuel Cerundolo enters the first-round clash at the clay-court ATP Swiss Open Gstaad as the clear favorite, buoyed by a career-high ranking near No. 42 and recent momentum from a fourth-round run at Roland Garros 2026 that featured an upset over world No. 1 Jannik Sinner and a grueling five-set victory. The Argentine left-hander has compiled a 10-11 record this season with strong clay-court results, while Zdenek Kolar, ranked around No. 154 with a 1-3 mark, has struggled for consistency in recent ATP and qualifying appearances. No prior head-to-head exists, but the surface and ranking gap shape trader expectations for the July 12-13 encounter.
