Cash and Tracy, a rising American doubles pair with a career-high ranking near No. 25 and a strong 2025 US Open semifinal run, face German home pair Hanfmann and Struff in the Halle Open doubles on grass. The Germans enter with significant momentum after capturing the Stuttgart doubles title just days earlier on the same surface, combining Hanfmann’s recent singles form—including a notable win over Fonseca—with Struff’s experience. Cash/Tracy arrive after a first-round loss in ’s-Hertogenbosch but bring consistent recent results across surfaces and solid grass-court pedigree. Local support and fresh title-winning chemistry give Hanfmann/Struff a clear edge in trader consensus for this early-round matchup, though the Americans’ youth and proven big-stage results keep the contest competitive.
