Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private sources project a high near 84–86°F for New York City on September 9 under partly to mostly cloudy skies with southwest winds of 8–15 mph and moderate humidity. Recent Central Park observations show daily maxima in the mid- to upper 70s to low 80s, consistent with early September climatology, while steering patterns favor modest warming without strong frontal passages or significant moisture. Minor model spread in boundary-layer mixing and cloud cover accounts for the tight clustering of market-implied odds around the 82–87°F range, with traders weighting the latest high-resolution guidance and surface observations ahead of final resolution.
