Alyssa Ahn enters this W15 Rancho Santa Fe round-of-16 match on outdoor hard courts with stronger recent credentials, including a successful 2025-26 Stanford freshman campaign that featured All-ACC recognition, a USTA national title, and a US Open main-draw appearance. Isabella Foshee, a 22-year-old American coming off a senior college season with a mixed 6-10 singles record at the top of her lineup, competes at this ITF level without comparable high-profile results. Both players are American right-handers with limited prior head-to-head history at the professional level. Ahn’s greater exposure to higher-stakes matches and current WTA ranking proximity near the low 700s to 900 range represent the primary factors shaping trader consensus, while Foshee’s familiarity with similar ITF events offers realistic upset potential on a fast hard-court surface where serve and baseline consistency often decide early-round outcomes.
