Ivan Gakhov enters the ITF M25 Gandia clay-court match against Ludvig Fredrik Hede as the clear favorite, driven by a substantial ATP ranking gap with Gakhov positioned near 388 compared to Hede’s placement around 2160. Gakhov’s prior career-high of 142 and experience on the ATP Challenger circuit provide a significant edge in consistency and tactical execution on clay, where he has compiled solid results in recent seasons. Hede, a lower-ranked Swede, has shown limited professional results and recently competed in qualifying rounds of the same event. No prior head-to-head exists, and both players arrive with standard preparation for this level of ITF competition, with the surface favoring baseline rallies and endurance that align with Gakhov’s established profile.
