Aruzhan Sagandikova, the Kazakh player ranked around WTA No. 663-664, faces 19-year-old Russian Polina Starkova in this ITF W15 Astana 2 hard-court match. Sagandikova brings superior recent form from the Astana swing, including straight-set wins, along with greater singles experience and a substantial ranking edge that shapes trader consensus around her as the stronger favorite. Starkova, primarily active in doubles with a ranking near 1028, has fewer documented singles results at this level, though her youth and regional travel factors could support competitive sets. Home-soil advantage and hard-court familiarity further favor Sagandikova in what remains a developmental-level encounter where upsets remain possible given limited head-to-head history.
