Recent polling averages ahead of Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election place the Social Democrats first with roughly 28 percent support, followed by the Sweden Democrats near 19 percent and the Moderates around 17 percent, establishing a stable ordering that has held through the final weeks of the campaign. This positioning reflects the Sweden Democrats’ consistent second-place standing in voter intention surveys across multiple institutes, supported by sustained backing on issues such as immigration and crime. The Moderates trail as the third party in the same data, with limited movement that has kept them behind the Sweden Democrats. Other parties remain well below these levels and show no signs of closing the gap in the closing days. Trader pricing on the 2nd-place market aligns with this polling pattern, assigning the Sweden Democrats the clear lead in implied probability while treating a Moderate finish second as the main alternative scenario.
