This market will resolve to "Yes" if Jennica Pounds, also known as "DataRepublican", provides public testimony before either chamber of the United States Congress (House of Representatives or Senate), or any of their official committees or subcommittees, by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". “Public testimony” refers to any testimony that is publicly accessible live (in-person or remote) via official livestream, television broadcast, or other live audio/video distribution. Any testimony or deposition that is closed-door or otherwise not publicly accessible will not qualify, even if recordings or transcripts are later released. The resolution source for this market will be live video or audio of the testimony; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**No recent political developments or official actions indicate that DataRepublican (Jennica Pounds) is scheduled or expected to appear for public congressional testimony by the October 31 deadline.** As an independent data analyst and volunteer contributor to government efficiency efforts—known for AI-driven tracking of federal grants, NGO funding flows, and spending patterns—Pounds has gained visibility through social media amplification by figures including Elon Musk and Sen. Mike Lee, along with media interviews. However, she holds no formal executive or agency role that would trigger standard oversight hearings, and searches of reporting through mid-2026 show no committee invitations, announcements, or related legislative activity. Congressional testimony markets typically move on confirmed scheduling, witness lists from authorizing committees, or public statements from members signaling intent. With none evident here and the resolution window closing in roughly two months, trader consensus at 91.5% for “No” reflects the absence of catalysts that would normally shift implied probabilities. Late developments such as a sudden subpoena or high-profile referral could still alter the outlook, but none have materialized.
