The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The race for most assists at the 2026 World Cup stays tightly bunched because a broad group of national-team creators occupy comparable roles as primary playmakers, with Kevin De Bruyne holding a slim 34% edge driven by his proven volume of progressive passes for Belgium and Manchester City. Players such as Alexis Vega, Ismaïla Sarr, Hannibal Mejbri, and Granit Xhaka cluster immediately behind at 32-31.5% implied probability, reflecting similar profiles as central creators for Mexico, Senegal, Tunisia, and Switzerland. This competitive spread stems from variable tournament factors including squad depth, tactical emphasis on wide combinations, and recent club form that has not yet produced a clear separation among these options.
