This market will resolve according to the winner of the Republican Primary for Governor of Wyoming, scheduled to take place on August 18, 2026. Resolution will be based on the overall winner of the primary, including any potential second round or run-off. If no 2026 Wyoming Gubernatorial Republican Primary takes place, this market will resolve to “Other.” The resolution source for this market will be the first official announcement of the results from the Wyoming Republican Party; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may suffice.Eric Barlow leads Wyoming’s Republican primary for governor with an 80%+ market share due to his substantial fundraising advantage—roughly $380,000 ahead of Megan Degenfelder—and a July internal poll placing him at 42% support against Degenfelder at 19% and Brent Bien at 14%. As a sitting state senator with deep ties to energy-producing counties, Barlow benefits from strong individual donor backing in a low-turnout primary for an open seat after term-limited incumbent Mark Gordon. Degenfelder, the current state superintendent and the only candidate with an explicit Trump endorsement, holds the remaining share but trails in cash and early survey data. The August 18 vote will resolve the market, with no other major public polls or late developments reported to shift the consensus.
