Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a frontal passage over Buenos Aires on September 3, 2026, likely capping daytime highs near 18–19°C amid increasing westerly winds, partial cloud cover, and a 10–70% chance of light showers. This follows warmer northerly flow on September 2 that briefly pushed readings toward 22°C. Traders assign the highest implied probabilities to 18–20°C because small differences in solar insolation under variable clouds, evaporative cooling from precipitation timing, and precise advection of cooler maritime air can shift the daily maximum by 1–2°C. Ensemble spread in official guidance reflects these uncertainties, with historical early-September averages near 19°C providing context but limited predictive weight given the active synoptic pattern.
