Recent weather model consensus from sources such as GFS indicates Toronto's overnight minimum on September 3 will likely reach 18–20°C under mostly cloudy skies with light northwest winds, following a warm, humid September 2 with thunderstorms. This aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 15.9°C yet exceeds some shorter-range guidance that had trended cooler. Market-implied odds remain balanced across 15°C-or-below and 25°C-or-higher outcomes because of typical uncertainties in urban heat-island effects, precise timing of the daily minimum, and minor model spread in boundary-layer conditions. Traders are weighting real-time observational updates and any late forecast revisions that could shift the recorded low by 1–2°C.
