Recent National Weather Service and NOAA forecasts indicate Dallas will likely see mostly sunny skies and southeast winds on September 2, supporting daytime highs in the mid-to-upper 90s, near or slightly above the early-September average of 93°F. Persistent regional heat and strong solar heating under clear conditions drive the current market-implied odds distribution across bins, with limited model spread suggesting modest uncertainty in exact peak temperature tied to subtle variations in wind speed or afternoon humidity. Traders weigh these official guidance updates against historical precedent for late-summer warmth, as new forecast runs and observations arrive ahead of resolution.
