Recent official forecasts from Environment Canada indicate an overnight low near 20–21°C for Toronto on September 2, driven by persistent cloud cover, high humidity, and scattered showers or thunderstorms that limit radiational cooling. These conditions stem from a warm, moist air mass with southwest winds, keeping surface temperatures elevated compared to the 16°C historical average low. Model consensus supports this mild minimum, though variations in storm timing or brief clear spells could allow modest additional cooling toward 18–19°C. Market odds reflect this uncertainty, with closely matched probabilities around 20–25°C ranges highlighting the sensitivity of the overnight low to evolving atmospheric moisture and wind patterns ahead of final observations.
