Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to an overnight low in the mid-50s for Seattle on September 3, with most guidance showing 53–55°F under partly cloudy skies and light southwesterly winds following Wednesday’s cold front. This range aligns with the market’s top outcomes (52–53°F at 33%, 54–55°F at 30%, 50–51°F at 26%), reflecting trader weighting of ensemble runs that incorporate marine-layer moderation from Puget Sound and residual moisture limiting radiative cooling. Key variables differentiating bins include cloud-cover duration overnight, boundary-layer mixing from sustained winds above 5 mph, and any lingering showers that could suppress minimum temperatures. Historical September 3 lows average 55°F, providing context for the current slightly cooler pattern. Updated model runs and official NWS briefings through the evening will likely refine probabilities ahead of the daily minimum.
