Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a typical early-September marine layer regime over coastal Los Angeles, with morning low clouds and fog clearing to mostly sunny skies and southwest winds near 15 mph, supporting a highest temperature near the 76.7°F climatological average for September 4 at Los Angeles International Airport. This positions the 76-77°F bin as the leading market outcome, reflecting trader assessment of stable atmospheric conditions without onshore heat advection or strong high-pressure ridging. Historical records show highs on this date rarely exceed 80°F absent unusual synoptic setups, while current ensemble guidance shows limited spread and no significant warming signals through the resolution window.
