A stalled high-pressure system east of Texas is sustaining hot, humid conditions across Southeast Texas, driving model consensus for a Tuesday high near 94–96°F in Houston under mostly sunny skies with southeast winds of 5–10 mph. Recent dry weather has limited cloud cover and rainfall, allowing rapid daytime heating from morning lows near 80°F, while elevated humidity keeps heat indices above 105°F without significantly altering actual air temperatures. National Weather Service and private model runs align on mid-90s peaks, consistent with late-summer climatology when highs average 88–92°F. Traders have priced the 94–95°F bin at 52.5% implied probability, reflecting this stable pattern, with only modest weight on slight upward or downward revisions ahead of tomorrow’s official observations.
