Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models indicate Atlanta will see mostly clear skies and light northwest winds overnight on September 13, supporting a minimum temperature near 69–73°F as the primary driver of market sentiment. This aligns with the leading 72–73°F outcome at 39% implied probability, reflecting consensus on radiational cooling under high pressure without significant moisture or cloud cover to retain heat. Historical September 13 lows average 66.6°F, so the elevated odds on 65°F or below at 28% capture potential for stronger cooling if winds weaken or dew points drop further. Traders are weighting the latest model runs showing stable upper-level ridging, with resolution hinging on official observations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport through the early morning hours.
