Forecast models from sources including the National Weather Service consensus show a maximum temperature of 78°F for New York City on September 12, 2026, under partly cloudy skies with light southeast winds and minimal precipitation risk. This aligns closely with the climatological average high of 77.7°F and recent observations around 66°F at dawn, supporting the market's 60.5% implied probability for the 78-79°F bin. Cooler 76-77°F outcomes hold 33.5% odds amid minor model spread, while probabilities drop sharply above 80°F given stable atmospheric conditions and absence of warming factors like clear skies or southerly flow. Official Central Park readings will determine final resolution.
