Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles International Airport indicate a September 11 high near 84°F under morning low clouds and fog followed by afternoon sunshine, consistent with strengthening onshore flow and marine layer influence that has moderated temperatures after extreme heat earlier in the week. Model consensus supports an upper-70s to mid-80s range, with historical September 11 averages near 76–77°F and recent daily maxima of 92–99°F reflecting the sharp cooldown. Trader emphasis on the 84–87°F bins reflects these official guidance trends and limited upside potential from lingering warmth, while lower outcomes would require stronger-than-expected marine intrusion. Updated NWS briefings and hourly observations will refine probabilities through the afternoon.
