Official observations from Los Angeles stations, including downtown and LAX, recorded a daily maximum of 90-91°F on September 10, aligning with National Weather Service data and model consensus under clear skies and light onshore flow. This outcome reflects a brief moderation following hotter prior days, with no significant heat advection or offshore winds to push readings higher. Trader consensus at near-certainty for this bin draws from verified measurements released shortly after the observation window closed, leaving minimal room for revision. Scenarios that could alter resolution include post-analysis adjustments to station data or redefinition of the "highest" metric across multiple sites, though such changes remain unlikely given consistent preliminary reports.
