Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a high around 26–29°C for Chongqing on September 14, with scattered showers and increasing cloud cover limiting daytime heating. This follows warmer, mostly dry conditions earlier in the week that allowed peaks near 29–30°C. Key differentiators among the closely matched market outcomes include the precise timing and intensity of rain, which reduces incoming solar radiation and enhances evaporative cooling, alongside regional humidity levels typical of the Sichuan Basin. Model runs show modest spread in maximum temperatures due to variable steering winds and frontal positioning, with official updates from Chinese meteorological agencies expected to refine the outlook ahead of resolution.
