Forecast models for Cape Town on September 14 project a daily maximum near 18–19°C amid mostly cloudy skies, scattered showers, and northerly winds of 15–25 km/h. These conditions limit daytime solar heating while advecting milder maritime air, keeping readings close to the long-term September average high of 19°C. Cloud cover and precipitation reduce the diurnal range, lowering the odds of reaching 20°C or above, while the absence of strong cold advection supports the market’s tight split between 18°C and 19°C. Updated numerical guidance and any late shifts in frontal timing remain the key variables that could refine the final observed high.
