Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and local meteorologists project a Chicago high temperature near 75–80°F on September 10, 2026, under mostly cloudy morning conditions that gradually clear, with north to northeast winds limiting afternoon warming. This range aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 78.2°F for the date and follows a September 9 high of 80°F amid moderating humidity. Market-implied odds, with 78–79°F at 55% and 80–81°F at 42%, reflect trader assessment of these NWS guidance runs and limited potential for stronger southerly flow or clearing that could push readings higher. No significant warm-air advection or model consensus for extremes above 82°F has emerged, keeping lower bins at minimal implied probability.
