Recent official forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and global models indicate a highest temperature of 32–34°C for Lucknow on September 10, driven by typical late-monsoon conditions featuring high humidity, light variable winds, and afternoon convective thunderstorms that limit daytime heating. These storms, with 50–70% probability, introduce uncertainty in peak values by enhancing cloud cover and evaporative cooling, consistent with observed maxima near 32–33°C on September 9. The market’s tight clustering around 33°C (45%) and 34°C (28%) reflects this narrow forecast spread and the sensitivity of resolution to exact timing of any rain or clearing, with lower probabilities for outliers aligning with historical September variability in the region. Updated model runs and local observations tomorrow morning will refine the outlook ahead of market close.
