Persistent high humidity and elevated dew points near 77–80°F are limiting overnight radiative cooling across South Florida, keeping forecast minimum temperatures for Miami on September 11 centered in the 79–83°F range according to National Weather Service guidance. Light easterly winds and residual cloud cover from diurnal thunderstorms further suppress temperature drops, consistent with the current warm, moist air mass that has produced recent overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s. Model consensus shows little change through the overnight period, with the highest probabilities assigned to the 80–81°F bin reflecting this narrow range of expected outcomes. Historical September averages near 77°F provide context, but the ongoing pattern of above-normal warmth and moisture has shifted trader-implied odds toward the upper end of typical values. Updated NWS forecasts and any shifts in steering flow or moisture will be the key near-term variables.
