C)" the specified date once information is finalized in the relevant "Daily Extract", available here: https://www.weather.gov.hk/en/cis/climat.htm This market can not resolve to "Yes" until data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures in Celsius to one decimal place (eg, 9.1°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) observations confirm the lowest temperature on May 4, 2026, hit 21°C at the reference station in King's Park, recorded via standardized maximum-minimum thermometers under mainly cloudy skies and light easterly winds that limited nocturnal cooling. This aligns precisely with HKO's pre-event 9-day forecast projecting a 21°C minimum amid normal to above-normal seasonal temperatures for May, where historical averages hover around 24°C but recent trough passages allowed a modest dip. Trader consensus at 100% implied probability reflects this verified data from official monitoring, embodying skin-in-the-game alignment with meteorological ground truth. Realistic challenges include a post-audit discovery of a lower reading from a secondary station or rare equipment recalibration, though HKO's rigorous quality controls make such revisions exceedingly unlikely.
