Recent forecasts from the Pakistan Meteorological Department and models indicate overnight lows near 28°C (82–83°F) for Karachi on September 26, driven by persistent warm Arabian Sea circulation that has weakened the moderating southwesterly sea breeze and sustained elevated humidity levels above 75%. This follows a late-September heat anomaly, including a 40.7°C daytime peak on September 21 that exceeded recent norms. Historical climatology places typical minimums around 26–27°C, but current steering patterns and limited cloud cover favor slightly higher readings, creating tight market spreads around the 28°C threshold. Resolution hinges on the official station's lowest hourly observation, with traders weighing potential minor cooling from shifting winds or increased moisture against the entrenched warm anomaly. Updated PMD guidance and ensemble model runs over the next 48 hours will refine these probabilities.
