Recent forecasts for Milan indicate an overnight minimum near 16–17°C under clear skies and light easterly winds, aligning with the closely matched market-implied odds for those outcomes. Radiational cooling under high pressure and minimal cloud cover allows surface temperatures to drop efficiently toward the dew point, currently around 16–18°C, limiting further decline. Light winds reduce turbulent mixing, while moderate humidity supports gradual cooling without significant fog formation. Slight model variations in exact wind speed or residual moisture account for the tight spread between 14–17°C probabilities, with historical September minima near 16°C providing context for trader positioning ahead of final observational data from local stations.
