Official observations from the National Weather Service at San Francisco International Airport recorded a daily high of 70–71°F on September 13, 2026, aligning precisely with the market's sole outcome. This result fits within typical early-September patterns influenced by the marine layer and onshore flow that moderate coastal temperatures, following a brief warm spell earlier in the month when highs reached the mid-80s. With resolution based on verified station data, trader consensus reflects near-certainty in the final reading. Minor adjustments remain possible only if post-processing revises the preliminary value or if a secondary official station reports a slightly different peak, though historical precedent shows such changes rarely exceed 1°F.
