PAN leads the market for second place in Mexico’s June 2027 Chamber of Deputies election because it remains the largest and best-organized national opposition force outside the Morena-led bloc. Recent national polling consistently places PAN ahead of PRI and Movimiento Ciudadano in intended vote share among non-Morena parties, reflecting its stronger brand recognition and infrastructure in key states. The PRI continues to lose registered members and struggles to rebuild credibility after its post-2018 decline, while PVEM and PT typically ally with Morena rather than contest second place independently. MC shows pockets of support but lacks PAN’s nationwide footprint. With more than ten months until voting, coalition negotiations and any shifts in President Sheinbaum’s approval could still alter relative opposition positioning, yet current polling and structural advantages keep trader consensus heavily on PAN.
