Recent National Weather Service and private model runs indicate Denver highs on September 5 will likely reach 89–92 °F under partly cloudy skies and light winds, placing the greatest market weight on the 90–91 °F and 92–93 °F bins. Persistent high pressure and above-average early-September warmth have supported these readings, while increasing afternoon moisture and a modest uptick in cloud cover introduce downside risk for the lower bins. Historical September 5 averages near 83 °F underscore the current positive anomaly. Traders are watching the next 48-hour model updates for any shift in steering flow or convective timing that could alter peak temperatures by a few degrees before the market resolves.
